Repairs

Most denture repairs can be carried out while you wait. The repair is actually processed - unfortunately there is no "magic glue", so an average time is 30 - 40 minutes.

Relines

If relining is a suitable option for your dentures this is another service that can be offered while you wait but you should bear in mind that it is not always possible.

Additions

Have you lost a tooth from your denture or a natural tooth? Do you think you are about to?

Teeth can be added while you wait and in conjunction with your own dentist or by attending our clinic, can also be added immediately after an extraction.

New Dentures

Although we can offer some NHS dentures, our private charges remain reasonable and competitive. We offer three rates of denture prices as follows:

1. Our "De-luxe range" rate gives a very good denture, made in the conventional way with good quality teeth.



2. Our "Premier range" rate gives a denture made using an injection moulding process which aids retention, and with High Impact acrylic, which does not break easily. The teeth used, have a three year guarantee against wear from the manufacturers.



3. Our "Superior range" dentures are also made using the injection moulding process with High Impact acrylic but the teeth used have a five year manufacturers guarantee against wear.

The prices change according to the quality of the materials used. The quality of the workmanship does not change.

Your comfort is definitely enhanced with this virtually unbreakable bio-compatible flexible material.

Tooth coloured clasps are also available which makes the overall appearance almost perfect.

Recent laboratory tests confirm that no toxins or harmful chemicals leach out from our monomer free plastics and colourants.

Chrome Colbalt Dentures

These can be a very good option for patients needing partial dentures. The advantages are that they allow more of the palate to be exposed thus improving the sense of taste. They are also much lighter and finer than acrylic dentures and are excellent for patients who are prone to breaking their dentures. Contrary to popular belief they do not conduct heat to the mouth tissue and cause burns and there is no metallic taste.

Dental Gems

Anti-snoring Device

If your partner's a heavy snorer you'll know what a misery it can be. Snoring can affect the health of the snorer too. In some cases, it is connected with sleep apnoea, in which the sufferer actually stops breathing for a time; the result can be constant daytime drowsiness and extra strain on the heart.

What causes snoring?
When your throat muscles relax in sleep, they are less effective in holding your breathing passages open. The soft sides of the airway tend to close in, and the air has to move faster through a smaller space. This causes vibrations of the soft tissue which generate the noise of snoring.

How comfortable is the device?
At first, you may experience some stiffness in your jaw when you wake up. It generally takes a few days until you become accustomed to wearing the appliance.
